Kirchdorf is located in the Leukental, near St. Johann in Tirol. The community consists of several hamlets and scattered settlements, as well as a nice, original town center. A large part of the Wilder Kaiser also belongs to the municipal area. Kirchdorf is the second largest municipality in the Kitzbühel district in terms of area and is located in the Kitzbühel judicial district.
