The Almlodges offer an exclusive experience in the midst of an impressive mountain and alpine landscape with stylish design and a well-thought-out rental concept. In the winter, you can enjoy the "ski-in/ski-out" connection, which is a must for many guests, while in the summer, the Almlodges are an ideal starting point for hiking and mountain biking tours around the Hochkönig.
A total of 8 LODGES are being built, which have a living area starting at 111 sqm and offer spacious terrace and garden areas. Each lodge is equipped with two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, as well as a spacious living area that offers plenty of comfort.
PRIVACY is a top priority - each of the 8 lodges has a private sauna, a stainless steel hot tub for relaxation and unwinding, and a fireplace for cozy evenings by the crackling fire. Luxury, comfort, and the unique location make the lodges an incomparable hideaway. The high-quality furniture from local carpenters and selected materials create an incomparable atmosphere.
You will be warmly welcomed in the bright lobby with a fireplace, while the underground parking garage with designated e-charging stations provides guests with comfortable parking and a car-free environment.

As a resource-friendly and eco-conscious hotel, good environmental practices are standard at the Birgkarhaus. The hotel takes pride in supporting local farmers and suppliers as well as sustainable businesses in and around Mühlbach. The respect for the environment and nature is also reflected in the authentic architecture. It was of great importance to create a hotel in Salzburger Land that honors regional construction methods and craftsmanship, that harmoniously blends with its surroundings, and that emphasizes nature\'s beauty and grandeur. The hotel also uses plenty of native plants and trees for a sustainable landscape. Local trees such as larch and spruce were used in the construction, and the interior has a natural and authentic appeal that is simple and sophisticated.
In the winter, the Birgkar is located on the ski slopes and offers ski-in/ski-out convenience. The Hochkönig region is well-known for being snow-sure. As partner of SKI AMADÉ (760 km of groomed slopes), the region offers more than 120 kilometers of slopes and 34 modern lifts for skiers of all abilities. 35 beautiful mountain huts ensure that all winter sports enthusiasts will find something to their liking. Other popular winter activities include ski mountaineering, snowshoeing, Nordic skiing, hiking, sledding, and geo-caching.
The Birgkar is located amid the breathtaking alpine landscape of the Hochkönig with 340km of superb hiking trails.
